Home Again

On the death of her mother Anna inherited the family house and farm. Later that year, she moved home again with her three children. She now lives with her children and her uncle on the farm she grew up on, in Co.Westmeath.

Documenting her everyday I worked closely with Anna and her family as they re- settled into her childhood home. The work records the challenges and rewards a mother experiences each day, while exploring themes of place, memory, family and motherhood.  

This work was exhibited at Griffith College Final year show 2010 and was made into a dummy book. Home Again was Selected for Open Call and exhibited in PhotoIreland Festival 2010.
